In January-March 2021 industrial products at 11,0 milliard manats or less for 3,6 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 5,9 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 11,9 percent.

63,7 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 29,3 percent in manufacturing sector, 6,2 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,8 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 5,3 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 12,0 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 7,3 times, leather and leather products and shoes by 4,8 times, computer, electronic and optical products by 2,5 times, machine and equipment by 2,4 times, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 2,2 times, tobacco products by 83,1 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 81,4 percent, paper and cardboard by 32,5 percent, textile industry products by 27,8 percent, rubber and plastic products by 15,2 percent, electrical equipment by 14,1 percent, production of clothes by 10,8 percent, construction materials by 10,0 percent, food products by 6,3 percent, metallurgical industrial products by 0,6 percent, while production of furniture decreased by 6,3 percent, finished metal products by 11,5 percent, chemical industrial products by 12,5 percent, oil products by 13,0 percent, beverage by 13,1 percent, polygraphic products by 62,3 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers production by 63,3 percent, other vehicles by 97,7 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply decreased by 1,3 percent while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities increased by 2,4 percent.
