Delegation led by Yusif Yusifov, Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan was on a visit to the Statistics Finland within the EU Twinning project "Support to the State Statistical Committee and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy to strengthen collection, harmonization, analysis, publishing and dissemination of business statistics” on November 29-December 3, 2021.

On November 23 Chairman of the State Statistical Committee met with delegation led by Vice Commissioner of Statistics Korea.

On November 1, the Chairman of the State Statistical Committee Mr Tahir Budagov met with the Country Manager of the World Bank for Azerbaijan Ms Sarah Michael.

“Being a leading country in the implementation of this Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, Azerbaijan has always supported international efforts on transparency and accountability in the extractive industry.

Presentation of the “Extractive Industries Transparency” Portal was held on October 19, 2021 in the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On October 8 the Chairman of the State Statistical Committee Mr Tahir Budagov met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Ms Vladanka Andreeva.

A mid-term event was held within “Support to the State Statistical Committee and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy to strengthen collection, harmonization, analysis, publishing and dissemination of business statistics” Twinning project at “Hyatt Regency Baku” hotel on 5 October 2021.

On July 22, 2021, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tahir Budagov met with Jahit Bagchi, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The next meeting of the Statistical Council under the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.
