A meeting of the territorial party organization “Inshaatchilar Avenue 81” of the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) was held at the State Statistical Committee.

Issues arising from the speech delivered by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, Ilham Aliyev, at the 8th Congress of the Party were discussed at the meeting.

The meeting began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the brave sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country.

Vahab Mammadov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, Chairman of the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, and Sevda Suleymanova, Executive Secretary of the Board of the State Statistical Committee and Chairperson of the territorial party organization “Inshaatchilar Avenue 81,” delivered speeches at the meeting.

The speeches addressed the priority areas highlighted by President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party, as well as issues related to Azerbaijan’s sustainable development, strengthening the country’s political and economic potential, protecting national interests, and consolidating the country’s international standing. It was emphasized that the policy pursued under the leadership of the Head of State serves to enhance Azerbaijan’s international standing, safeguard its national interests, and promote the country’s comprehensive development.

Views were also expressed on the role of the New Azerbaijan Party in the country’s socio-political life, its development since its establishment, and the trust it has gained among various segments of society.

During the discussions, the tasks ahead in improving the Party’s activities, increasing members’ engagement in socio-political processes, strengthening work with young people, and expanding cooperation within the organization were highlighted. 

The meeting concluded with the playing of the Anthem of the New Azerbaijan Party. A commemorative photo was taken at the end.
