Representatives of the State Statistical Committee take part in the High Level Seminar held in Kyiv

High Level Seminar organized by EU Statistical Office (Eurostat) for the top management of the National Statistical Institutes of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia countries and Mongolia on the “Modernization of Official Statistics” is taken place on 23-25 October 2018 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Mr. Rauf Salimov, Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee and Mr. Gasim Aliyev, Head of the Department of Statistical Works Coordination and Strategic Planning are attending the seminar.

The event is dedicated to discussion of the matters of strategic cooperation, quality, organization efficient management in the framework of ISO 9001:2015, statistical data production, new statistical  methodologies, statistical business process model, role of administrative data in official statistical production, population census, innovative statistics, dissemination of statistical data and studying of business operation activity.

The representatives of the State Statistical Committee gave a broad presentation on “Establishment of collaborative relationships: Experience of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and made exchange of views around the topic with participation of international experts.
