State Statistical Committee is represented in the Seventh Session of OIC-StatCom

7th Session of OIC-StatCom is conducted in the capital of Turkey, Ankara on 2-3 May. Mr. Jabbar Musayev, Head of Administration of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan takes part in the session.

The work done in relation to 2020 Round of Population and Housing Censuses, strengthening of actions related with production and dissemination of official statistics on demography and migration, including civil registration, the national priorities in the field of preparation of data on SDG indicators, establishment of a New Strategic Vision for the OIC-StatCom and activities on 62nd ISI World Statistics Congress will be discussed during the session.

Representative of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan will make presentation on work done toward preparations for Population Census to be conducted in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2019, as well as pilot census, and will share the experience of the State Statistical Committee achieved in this area, with participants of the session.
