Employees of the State Statistical Committee participated in the training on metadata in Ankara

On December 7-8, 2017, a group of employees of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the training on metadata conducted in Ankara, Turkey, organized by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries. The main purpose of the training, which held at the Turkish Statistical Institute in Ankara, is to familiarize with the Turkish Statistical Institute metadata and classification system and to study the current situation, to apply the General Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM), as well as the experience gained in the workload analysis and cost accounting learning. The two-day training provided detailed information to the Turkish counterparts on the establishment of quality management system in the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the current state of the metadata and classification system, and ongoing further steps.
