The 53rd Council Meeting of Heads of National Statistical Services of CIS member countries and meeting on problems in assessment of main indicators received on the base of statistical surveys on population census and Labour Force (labour market and labour migration) held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Representatives of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nemat Khuduzade Deputy Head of Labour Statistics and Khalig Nasibov Deputy Head of Department of Population and Gender Statistics participated in the the 53rd Council Meeting of Heads of National Statistical Services of CIS member countries and meeting on problems in assessment of main indicators received on the base of statistical surveys on population census and Labour Force (labour market and labour migration) held on 4-6 August, 2015 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Heads and experts on labour statistics and population census of National Statistical Services of CIS member countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia and Russia), as well as official representatives of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Ministry of Labour, Migration and Youth and Social Fund also, experts of ILO, International Organization for Migration (IOM), Eurasian Economic Commission and Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS participated in the meeting.
The main purpose of the meeting was current problems and future perspectives on collection of labour migration statistics on CIS member countries, preparation of processes of 2020 population and housing census, labour activity of 19th International Conference of Labour Statisticians, realization of project on “development of Labour Statistics” and others.
During the meeting countries presented their presentations as well as expert of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan presented presentation on “Migration Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan”.

At the end of the meeting it was decided provision of next 54th council meeting on 15 October, 2015 in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan.
