Workshop on the Modernization of Statistical Production was held in Geneva

Representative of the State Statistical Committee deputy head of the Department of Quality Management and IT Chimnaz Aliyeva was participated in the workshop on the Modernization of Statistical Production organized by UNECE, High Level Group on Statistical Production and Modernization of Services, Modernization Committee on production and methods and Eurostat on 15-17 April, 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The main purpose of the workshop was business and IT changes that will impact statistical production, enterprise architecture and its role in the modernization of statistical production, innovation in technology and methods driving opportunities for modernization.
Representatives of Eurasian Economic Commission, International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Payment Bank (IPB), Eurostat, ILO, World Trade Organization , OECD, UNESCO, UNIDO and representatives of national statistical bodies of Azerbaijan, Australia, Norway, Ireland, Montenegro, Poland, Macedonia, United States of America, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Hungary, Sweden, Ukraine, Turkey, Bulgaria, Israel, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Croatia, Finland, Italy, Great Britain, Estonia, Germany, New Zealand and Slovenia were participated in the workshop.
During the workshops topics on Business and IT changes that will impact statistical production; Enterprise architecture and its role in the modernization of statistical production; Innovation in technology and methods driving opportunities for modernization were discussed by the representatives.
