The results of 5th ENPI-SEIS Steering Committee meeting held in Copenhagen

The 5th ENPI-SEIS Steering Committee meeting was held in 16-17 September of the current year. Representatives of statistical and ecological bodies of South Caucasus, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine as well as representatives of South region of ENPI-SEIS participated in the meeting. The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented by Head of Sector on Ecology, Forestry and Fishing Statistics of the Department of Agricultural and Environment Statistics of the State Statistical Committee – Rena Lazimova and Head of Sector of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources – Rashad Allahverdiyev.
The objective of this meeting was to take stock of the results achieved by the project, to discuss lessons learned, to draw conclusions and to agree on the activities for the last six months of the project.
During the meeting representatives from the Republic of Azerbaijan informed all the participants about the creation of indicators on environment by the State Statistical Committee in SDMX format and its availability in the official web page of the Committee.
At the end of the meeting was presented the results and recommendations of regional meetings and discussed graphic of ENPI-SEIS project and future perspectives.
