Representative of the State Statistical Committee participated in the meeting of the Expert Group on Measuring Quality of Employment held in Berlin, Germany

Deputy Head of the Labour Statistics Department of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nemat Khuduzade participated in the meeting of the UNECE Expert Group on Measuring Quality of Employment (EG MQE) held on 10-11 September, 2014 in Berlin, Germany. Representatives of Azerbaijan, Australia, Germany, Canada, Finland, France, Israel, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherland, Moldova, Sweden, Mexico National Statistical offices and 5 international organizations participated in the meeting.
In accordance with the Terms of Reference of the EG, the main objectives of the meeting were to discuss and agree upon the revised indicator list and indicator sheets in dimensions 5 (Social dialogue), 6 (Skills development and training), and 7 (Employment-related relation-ships and work motivation); to finalize the work on the indicators as well as indicator sheets in dimensions 1 to 4; to finalize the work on the statistical framework document on measuring of quality of employment, and to prepare the final report to be submitted to the Conference of European Statisticians.
