Workshop on Energy Statistics and Energy Balances in the frame of “INOGATE” programme was held in Vienna, Austria

Head of Department on Industry and Construction Statistics H. Dadashov and Deputy Head of the same Department A. Karimov participated in the workshop on Energy Statistics and Energy Balances in the frame of “INOGATE” programme was held in Vienna, Austria on 7-11 July, 2014.
Representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and experts of INOGATE, Statistics of Austria and Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia participated in the workshop dedicated to Energy Statistics and Energy Balances.
Expert of INOGATE programme on Energy Statistics - Ms. Gloria Aguinaldo chaired the workshop. The four-day workshop consisted of 10 sessions.
In the opening of the workshop G.Aguinaldo presented presentation on cooperation in the field of statistics in the frame of INOGATE programme. The presentation was about main purpose of INOGATE. It was legal and institutional frameworks for the development of energy statistics, compliance of data collection, design, management and analysis with European and international standards, energy prices and development of report systems on energy efficiency indicators and etc.
