Study visit of representatives of the State Statistical Committee to Czech Statistical Office

Representatives of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nuru Suleymanov – Head of the Department of National Accounts and Macro-Economic Indicators Statistics and Sevinj Huseynova – Head Advisor of the same Department participated in the study visit on 29 October – 1 November of current year in Czech Statistical Office.
During the study visit following topics were discussed and studied by the experts of Czech Statistical Office:
Transition to new System of National Accounts of CZSO; Sub-sectors of the financial corporations and their identification in accordance with the requirements of the ESA-2010: Criteria for institutional units belonging to the sub-sectors; Calculation and recording of NA indicators for insurance companies and pension funds by ESA 2010 (required indicators, questionnaires); Analysis and discussion of the report forms and data sources of the SSC of Azerbaijan; Calculation and recording of NA indicators for different institutional units by ESA 2010 (investment funds and companies, pawn, leasing companies, holding companies, stock exchanges, mortgage fund ); the required indicators, questionnaires; Market and non-market output of the Central Bank by ESA 2010 (indicators and data sources; soft (concessional) loans in FISIM calculations; foreign trade; research and development; PIM method implementation of electronic tables of the CSO; other practical issues (CFC for military assets, government and public distinguishing ) and etc.
At the end of the study visit Head and experts of the Department of National Accounts of Czech Statistical office signified their consent on cooperation with the employees of the State Statistical Committee on application of PIM method and other interesting issues and offered organization of practical workshop on the calculation of consumption of fixed capital on April-September, 2014.
