Construction of dwellings

In 2018 dwellings with total floor space of 2084,7 thousand square meters or 3.3% more dwellings compared with the previous year, have been constructed at the expenses of all financial sources and submitted into use.

During the year volume of resources used for construction of dwellings made 1313,8 million manats, of which 252,3 million manats are per the share of state-owned and 1061,5 million manats – non-state-owned enterprises and organizations as well as the share of the population.

In 2018, 13.7 thousand dwellings have been constructed by country citizens at their own expenses for the purpose to improve their housing condition, 23.3% of them were constructed in Baku city, 19.5% - Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 4.0% - Masalli, 3.9% - Sabirabad regions and 49.3% in other cities and regions of the country.
