In January-October 2018 industrial products at 40.0 milliard manats or more than 1.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. Product output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 10.0%, while in oil sector it increased by 0.2%.

73.4% of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 22.0% in manufacturing sector, 3.9% in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.7% in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Oil production in mining sector increased by 0.1%, while marketable gas production it increased by 3.5%.

Production of automobile, trailers and semi-trailers in manufacturing sector increased by 26.5 times, polygraphic products by 2.9 times, tobacco products by 2.5 times, electrical equipment by 2.4 times, production of furniture by 2.1 times, textile industry products by 48.8%, production of leather and leather products and shoes by 35.6%, construction materials by 28.9%, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 21.0%, metallurgical industrial products by 13.3%, production of beverage by 10.6%, production of paper and cardboard by 6.8%, chemical industrial products by 3.8%, rubber and plastic products by 0.1%, while production of finished metal products by 1.2%, production of computer, electronic and optical products by 4.7%, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 11.7%, production of pharmaceutical products by 12.9%, production of machine and equipment by 17.7% and production of other vehicles by 65.6% decreased.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been increased by 5.7% while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 3.3%.
