In January-March 2018 industrial products at 11.1 milliard manats or more than 2.0% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year were produced. Product output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 9.9%, and 0.9% in oil sector.

73.5% of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 21.3% in manufacturing sector, 4.6% in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.6% in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Oil production in mining sector increased by 2.2% and marketable gas production decreased by 5.8%.

Production of tobacco products in manufacturing sector increased by 2.8 times, ready metal products by 2.5 times, polygraphic products by 2.0 times, production of furniture by 96.7%, production of leather and leather products and shoes by 85.1%, textile industry products by 53.2%, construction materials by 38.7%, electrical equipment by 37.4%, production of machine and equipment by 27.2%, metallurgical industrial products by 11.5%, chemical industrial products by 6.2%, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 0.8%, production of beverage by 3.1%, production of food products by 7.2%, computer and electronic products by 18.3%, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 19.7%, production of pharmaceutical products by 21.9%, production of clothing by 25.2%, rubber and plastic products by 40.5%, production of other vehicles by 66.1%, decreased.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been increased by 0.7%, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it decreased by 3.5%.
