In January 2018 industrial products at 3.9 milliard manats or more than 1.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year were produced. Product output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 8.7%, and in oil sector it was remained at the same level.    

75.9% of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 19.1% in manufacturing sector, 4.5% in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.5% in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Oil production in mining sector decreased by 0.2% and marketable gas production - 5.9%.

Production of tobacco products in manufacturing sector increased by 2.8 times, textile industry products by 73.9%, production of leather and leather products and shoes by 3.2 times, polygraphic products by 3.3%, production of pharmaceutical products by 3.1 times,  construction materials by 22.2%, ready metal products by 81.5%, production of furniture by 8.0% and production of food products decreased by 1.0%, production of beverage by 24.8%, production of clothing by 52.3%, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 20.9%, paper and cardboard by 17.6%, chemical industrial products by 1.3%, rubber and plastic products by 28.3%, metallurgical industrial products by 3.8%, computer and electronic products by 23.2%, electrical equipment by 22.3%, machine and equipment by 29.0%, production of other vehicles by 67.1%, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 6.0%.        

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been decreased by 0.2%, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it decreased by 5.2%.
