In the first quarter of 2017 gross domestic product in amount of 15229.7 million manats or 1570.0 manats per capita have been produced in the country.

During this period value added produced in non-oil sector of economy compared to corresponding period of the previous year increased by 2.4%, while in oil-gas sector it decreased by 6.8%.

As a result, GDP growth rate compared to the first quarter of 2016 made 99.1%.

GDP in amount of 7094.3 million manats was produced in industry, 1823.1 million manats – trade; repair of vehicles, 1187.8 million manats - construction, 1006.9 million manats - transport and warehouse, 442.1 million manats - accommodation of tourists and public catering, 412.3 million manats - agriculture, forestry and fishing, 259.3 million manats - information and communication areas, 1931.3 million manats – other areas. Net taxes for product and import made 1072.6 million manats.
