In January - March 2017 industrial products at 10.0 milliard manats or less for 6.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year were produced in the country industry. Product output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 2.0%, while in oil-sector it decreased by 8.3%.

71.8% of industrial products have been produced in mining sector, 22.6% - manufacturing sector, 4.9% - production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.7% - water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Oil production in mining sector decreased by 9.9%, while marketable gas production increased by 0.9%.

Production of food products in manufacturing sector increased by 3.4%, beverages – 37.1%, textile industry products - 2.4 times, production of clothing - 2.0%, wood manufacturing and production of wood products - 52.1%, production of pharmaceutical products - 2.4 times, production of rubber and plastic products - 42.4%, construction materials - 50.2%, production of metallurgical industrial products - 3.8%, computer and electronic products - 2.2 times, electrical equipment - 2.9 times, production of other vehicles - 24.7%, production of furniture - 56.5%, while production of tobacco products decreased by 58.1%, leather and leather products and shoes - 54.0%, production of paper and cardboard - 3.3%, production of printing products - 63.8%, chemical industry products - 4.3%, production of ready metal products - 21.0%, production of machinery and equipment - 42.2%, installation and maintenance activities of machinery and equipment - 59.9%.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been decreased by 2.6%, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it decreased by 0.7%.
