Retail trade turnover

In January 2017 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same month of the previous year for 1.3% and made 2.6 milliard manats. Food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 1.3 milliard manats or in real terms more for 0.8% compared to January of 2016 and non-food products more for 1.7% were sold to consumers. Goods market during the reporting month is characterized as follows:

During the reporting month 50.4% of resources the consumers spent in retail trade networks for purchasing of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 17.5% textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.3% electrical appliances and furniture, 5.1% motor fuel, 1.4% pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.8% computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 18.5% other non-food products. In January 2017 12.0% of consumer goods have been sold by enterprises of legal entity status, 54.1% - private entrepreneurs, 33.9% were sold in markets and fairs. Retail trade turnover in average per capita during the reporting month made 265.7 manats or more for 31.8 manats in nominal terms than corresponding indicator of 2016. In the trade network at average per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 133.9 manats and non-food products in amount of 131.8 manats.
