Changes in prices of consumer market
Prices of consumer goods and services including food products, non-food products and paid services provided to population in January-July 2016 increased respectively by 10.6%, 12.0%, 15.5%, and 4.7% compared to the same period of 2015.
In July 2016 prices of consumer goods and services decreased compared to June 0.3%, including food products 1.6%, but prices of non-food products increased 0.2%, prices of paid services provided to population 1.0%. Over the month there has been observed go up in prices of buckwheat, oats and pear-barley, beef and chicken, butter and vegetable oils, sugar and granulated sugar, lemon, cherries, apricot, strawberry, greens, garlic and onion and decreasing in prices of macaroni, fish products, raw milk, egg, apple, pear, banana, cherry plum, plum, peach, water-melon, melon, cucumber, tomato, egg-plant, pepper, bean, cabbage, carrot, beet, potato, tobacco products. There are no any significant changes in the prices of other food products.
Compared to June an increase in prices of non-food products such as fabrics, clothes and shoes, construction materials, jewelry, furniture and home appliances, carpet and other floor coverings, glassware, cooking utensils, household appliances, TV set and computers, telephone and camera in July. There are no any significant changes in the prices of other non-food products.
Over the month the prices of tours to abroad, energy supply, international passenger transportation by air and railway transport services from the paid services provided to population increased. There are no any significant changes in the prices of other paid services.
