Number and salary of civil servants
Number of civil servants in the country made 30.1 thousand persons for the state of January 1, 2016 and 29.2% of them were women. 3.9 % of civil servants worked on superior 3rd classifications of administrative positions, 75.4% on 4-7th classifications and 20.7% supporting positions of civil service.
Length of services of 7.3 % of civil servants made a year, 27.9% from a year to 5 years, 21.6% from 5 years to 10 years, 16.3% from 10 years to 15 years, 26.9% 15 years and over.
Distribution of civil servants by age groups is characterized as follows: 17.9% of persons - aged under 30 years, 15.0% aged 30-34 years, 21.8% aged 35-44 years, 24.3% aged 45-54 years, 17.5% aged 55-62 years, 2.3% aged 63-64 years and 1.2% aged 65 and over.
1.1% of civil servants in the country held administrative duties on 4-7th classifications were deputy heads of the local executives, 14.9% heads of departments, 11.2% deputy heads of departments, 8.5% heads of sectors, 26.5% chief advisers, 4.8% senior advisers, 12.5% leading advisers and 20.4% advisers. Positions of civil service according to staff table were recruited by 90.7%.
In 2015 average monthly salary of civil servant was 611.9 manats.
