Industrial products at 4.3 milliard manat or less than 0.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year were produced by industrial enterprises and by natural entities engaged in this sector in January-February, 2016.
61.7% of industrial products was produced in mining sector, 29.4% in processing sector, 8.0% in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.9% in water supply, treatment and processing of waste.
Production of marketable gas output in mining sector decreased by 8.3% and oil production by 1.4%.
Production of food products in processing sector increased by 2.0%, tobacco products by 80.4%, textile industry products by 3.1 times, production of clothing by 23.5%, production of metallurgical products by 50.8%, ready metal products by 93.7%, computer, electron and optic products by 67.6%, automobile, trailer and semi-trailers by 19.6%, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 2.5 times and production of beverages decreased by 18.7%, wood working and production of products from wood by 15.1%, production of printing products by 2.2%, chemical industry products by 13.7%, rubber and plastic products by 50.5%, construction materials by 48.5%, electrical equipment by 44.3%, machine and equipment by 31.7% and production of furniture by 3.9%.
Production volume of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been decreased by 5.1% and 3.5% in water supply, sewerage and waste management and remediation activities.
Production output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 4.5% and it was decreased by 0.7% in oil sector.
