Retail trade turnover
Products at 2243.2 million AZN, more 4.3% compared to the corresponding period 2015 were sold to consumers in January, 2016. Volume of sale on food products, beverages and tobacco products increased by 4.1% and was equal to 1124.8 million manat, on non-food products by 5.2% and was equal to 1118.4 million manat.
During the reporting month 50.1% of allocations of consumers in retail trade network spent to the purchase of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 16.7% textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.6% electrical appliances and furniture, 5.9% motor fuel, 1.4% pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.8% computers, telecommunication equipment and other products and 18.5% other non-food products.
