Commodity in amount of 14.0 milliard manat or more than 12.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2014 were sold to consumers in retail trade enterprises on January-July, 2015. 49.7% of sold consumer goods were food products, beverage and tobacco products, 50.3% non-food products and share of non-food products compared to January-July, 2014 increased by 0.8%.
During seven months of the current year volume of electronic retail trade turnover increased by 2.0 times compared to the same period of the last year and it was formed 7.2 million manat. 93.0 % of consumer goods ordered by online mode were purchased from trade networks of legal entities, 7.0% from trade networks of natural entities. 96.6 % of electronic trade turnover was formed non-food products.
In January-July, 2015 volume of public catering turnover increased by 17.8% compared to the same period of the last year and became 561.7 million manat. Volume of turnover in catering facilities of legal entities was 240.4 million manat and private enterprises engaged in this field 321.3 million manat.
