Industrial activity of households

During October – November, 2014 one time statistical survey on “Study of Industrial Activity of Households” covering all regions was carried out by the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
9579 households were involved to the survey. 5559 (58.0%) of households was covered urban settlements, 4020 (42.0%) – rural settlements.
During the year, the main products produced by households were: milk processing (418.5 thousand tons), new bread (392.1 thousand tons), meat production (including poultry) 137.6 thousand tons, dairy products (102.5 thousand tons), canned fruit and vegetable (43.4 thousand tons), compote (40.9 thousand tons), jam (32.5 thousand tons), cake, pasta and other confectionery products (28.8 thousand tons), alcohol from fruit and grape (94.1 thousand decalitre), wine (59.5 thousand decalitre), carpet and carpet products (1.0 thousand square metre).
