Import and export operations

During January-April, 2014 the residents of the Republic of Azerbaijan were realized trade relations with 122 world countries’ legal and natural entities, commodity was exported to 76 countries and it was imported from 117 countries. 42 of participants of foreign trade turnover was Europe, 25- America, 38 – Asia and other countries.
During four months, according to the statistical data volume of foreign trade turnover was mainly formed 13 milliard 465.8 million US dollars as well as, volume of export was formed 10 milliard 731.1 million dollars, volume of import 2 milliard 734.7 million, at the result in amount of 7 milliard 996.4 million dollars positive balance was created.
Among the total volume of export products crude oil, oil products, natural gas, fruit –vegetable, fat and oil of vegetable and animal, sugar, chemical products, plastic and products made from them, among the volume of import products - food products, ferrous metals and products made from them, machine, mechanism, electric apparatus, equipment and their parts, transport means and their parts was dominated. Export of non-oil products was formed 491.0 million manat.
