Gross Domestic Product (GDP). During January-October in amount of 47.6 milliard manat GDP was produced in the country and it was increased by 5.7% or 2.6 milliard manat by actual prices compared to the corresponding period of last year. 30.5 milliard manat or 64.1% of GDP was created in the field of production, 14.1 milliard manat or 29.6% - in the service fields, its 3.0 milliard manat (6.3%) was share of net of tax to the product and import.
GDP production increased by 5.0% compared to the corresponding period of last year in the field of production and 6.7% in the service fields.
On per capita in amount of 5122.6 manat (6528.9 US dollars) value added was produced and it was increased by 4.4%.
Production of value added in non-oil sector increased by 9.8% and 1.0% - in oil sector.
Industry. Taking into account the product produced by natural entities engaged in households and industry fields in amount of 28.0 milliard manat product was produced in the industry field created 46.3% of value added and it was increased by 1.5%.
74.4% of industry product was produced in mining sector, 19.9% - in processing sector, 5.0% - in the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam and 0.7% - in the sector of water supply, treatment and processing of waste.
36.1 million tons oil and 14.6 milliard cubic meter marketable gas was produced in mining sector.
Production of food products in processing sector increased by 3.7%, beverage – 6.4%, leather and leather products, shoes – 31.0%, polygraphy products – 44.8%, oil products – 6.1%, products of chemical industry – 18.4%, pharmacology products – 15.8%, construction materials – 17.4%, metallurgy industry – 0.3%, electric equipments – 1.9%, machine and its equipments – 12.3%, automobile and trailers – 33.5%, other transport means – 2.4%, jewelry, music, sport and medical equipments – 1.5%, installation and maintenance of machine and equipments – 28.5%.
Less than 0.3% or 16.7 milliard kilowatt hours compared to last year electricity was produced in the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and water.
Production of industry products were increased by 2.0% in non-oil sector, 1.0% - in oil sector.
Agriculture. Harvest of products in the agrarian sector is nearing completion. Till the 1st November together with maize 2938.8 thousand tons grain was gathered from arable lands, as well as, 992.2 thousand tons – potato, 1191.1 thousand tons – vegetable, 691.2 thousand tons – fruit and berry, 429.7 thousand tons market garden crops, 142.8 thousand tons – grape, 3.3 thousand tons – tobacco, 87.0 thousand tons – sugar beet, 549.9 tons – green tea leaves and 31.5 thousand tons – cotton.
Production of cereals and leguminous increased by 4.9% compared to the corresponding period of last year, as well as, production of potato – 2.5%, vegetable – 0.1%, fruit and berry - 3.9%, market garden crops – 0.5% and grape – 14.5%.
During the year 402.7 thousand tons meat in live weight, 1528.9 thousand tons milk, 1160.2 million unit egg and 16.5 thousand tons wool was produced. Production of meat increased by 4.0% compared to the corresponding period of 2012, as well as production of milk – 6.4%, egg – 16.3%, wool – 2.3%.
Thus, production of plant products was higher than the level of last year by 3.8%, production of live-stock products – 5.6%, total product of agriculture – 4.7%.
792.3 thousand hectare field was ploughed for the crop of next year, in the area with 444.8 thousand hectare seed for grain, as well as, in the area with 272.7 thousand hectare wheat, in the area with 172.1 thousand hectare barley was sowed by rural workers.
Construction. In amount of 13.1 milliard manat or more than 16.6% funds were directed to the fixed assets from all financial sources to the construction complex. 4.9 milliard manat (37.1%) of fund was put on by the account of non-state sector of office and organizations and 8.2 milliard manat – by the account of state sector. In amount of 8.7 milliard manat was directly spent to the construction and installation works and it was formed 66.7% of total funds. 51.1% or 6.7 milliard manat of used investments was used to the construction of production facilities.
9.7 milliard manat or 74.2% of investments directed to the fixed assets was formed by the account of internal investment, 3.4 milliard manat – external investment.
5980.6 million manat of investment from state budget was used to the construction of new constructed and under constructed facilities in 2013 and during the year following production and non-production facilities were put into operation: dwellings with total area 1724.4 thousand square metre, secondary schools with 26996 places for pupils, ambulatory-polyclinic institutions which allows serve 226 persons, hospital with 1050 beds, pre-school institutions with 1751places, club with 864 places, in Baku city - Production Union on “Ship Repair and Ship Building”, shipyard, Gas Turbine Thermal Power Plant, “Fairmont Baku” hotel at Flame Towers complex, in Nakhchivan AR - Arpachay Hydro-electric Power Station, in Sumgait city - “Textile Park “Gilan”, steel tube plant, in Shirvan city – “South” Thermal Power Plant, in Absheron region - Disposable plastic containers and Preforming Manufacturing and “Milla” Dairy Products and Ice-cream Production Factory, in Gazakh region – Cement Plant, in Yevlakh region - Airport, in Gadabay region - New Gold Processing Plant, in Gabala region - Grape Processing Factory, dairy and livestock breeding complex, in Hajigabul region - Ceramic Tiles Production Plant, in Shirvan, Khacmaz, Gakh and Saatly regions – Olympic Sport Complexes, in Shabran region - Valvalachay-Takhtakorpu Channel, Takhtakorpu Reservoir, Takhtakorpu Hydro-electric Power Station, in Ismayilli region - Garment Factory, “Ismayilli – 1” Hydro-electric Power Station, in Agjabadi region - “Agat-Agro cattle breeding complex.
Transport. During ten months 179.9 million tons or more than 3.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2012 cargo was transported by the natural entities engaged in transport enterprises and automobile transport. Conveyance of passengers increased by 7.8% and it was formed 1.4 milliard person.
Information and Communication. At the beginning of the year in amount of 1.3 milliard manat or more than 8.5 % compared to the corresponding period of last year communication service services were rendered to population, enterprises and organization by communication enterprises. Volume of income received from mobile telephone communication service increased by 13.5 % and reached to 744.5 million manat and it was formed 59.3% of total income.
Commodity turnover and paid service. During January-October in amount of 15.6 milliard manat consumer goods were sold to population and it was increased by 9.7%. Volume of paid services increased by 6.9% and reached to 5.1 milliard manat. 8.1 milliard manat or 51.8% of goods purchased from consumer market by population was formed food products, 7.5 milliard manat non-food products and they were correspondingly increased by 1.4% and 21.2%. In this period e-trade turnover increased by 66.2% and it was exceeded 2 milliard manat.
Foreign trade. According to the data of State Customs Committee during nine months in amount of 26.1 milliard dollars trade operations were carried out. 69.1% or 18.0 milliard dollars of commodity turnover was formed exported goods and 30.9% (8.1 milliard dollars) – imported goods, in amount of 9.9 milliard dollars positive balance was created.
11.1% of trade operations were carried out with CIS countries, 88.9% - with other countries.
According to the data received from State Oil Company and AIOC on export of crude oil and natural gas foreign trade turnover was formed 32.7 milliard dollars as well as 24.6 milliard dollars export and in amount of 165 milliard dollars positive balance was created.
During nine months in amount of 20.7 million US dollars humanitarian and technical aid was received.
Consumer prices and service tariffs. The prices of consumer gods and service tariffs increased by 0.7% in October compared to previous month and during ten months it was increased by 2.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year. Prices of food products at indicated period correspondingly was increased by 1.2% and 2.2%, prices of non-food products – 0.4% and 0.5%, service tariffs – 0.2% and 3.4%.
Income of population. During January – October, 2013 income of population increased by 7.7% and formed 29.1 milliard manat. During this period income on per capita increased by 6.4% and reached to 3130.1 manat or on average monthly 313.0 manat.
Salary/wage. During January-September average monthly salary/wage of employees increased by 6.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2012 and it was became to 415.0 manat.
State budget. In accordance with the data of Ministry of Finance during January-September in amount of 14.3 milliard manat funds were entered to the state budget, in amount of 12.7 milliard manat fund were spent from budget. 45.1% or 5.7 milliard manat of budget expenses were directed to the development of economy, 1.3 milliard manat to education and health, 10.6% or 1.4 milliard manat to social defense and social protection of population.
In amount of 1.6 milliard manat surplus created between income and expenses of budget was created 3.8% in GDP.
Credit. Till the 1st October, 2013 in amount of 14.8 milliard manat credits given to legal and natural entities of the country increased by 30.0%, its 76.8% was long-term credits, 5.4% of its payment was expired.
Deposits of population. According to the data till the 1st of October deposits of population in the banks increased by 36.9% compared to the corresponding period of last year and reached to 6.2 milliard manat. 2.4 milliard manat of deposits were with foreign currency, 3.8 milliard manat with national currency.
Exchange rate of manat. In October monthly rate of exchange of national currency for 1 US dollars was 0.78 manat, 1Euro – 1.07 manat, 100 Russian Rouble – 2.45 manat. At the beginning of the year correspondingly it was formed 0.78, 1.04 and 2.48 manat.
