Changing producers’ prices of sold agriculture crops in August, 2013
Producers’ prices of sold agriculture crops in August increased by 0.8 % compared to previous month, as well as, producer’s prices of live cattle and livestock products - 2.3% and producer’s prices of annual crops decreased by 0.7%, producer’s prices of perennial plants – 0.4%.
From annual crops producer’s prices of wheat increased by 0.8%, maize – 0.2%, barley – 2.5%, cucumber – 2.3%, producer’s price of dry hay – 5.6% and producer’s prices of tomato decreased by 0.6%, eggplant – 6.8%, green been – 6.6%, cabbage – 0.5%, greens – 0.2%, onion – 1.0% and producer’s price of watermelon and melon correspondingly decreased by 22.6%.
From perennial crops producer’s price of lemon increased by 0.9%, strawberry – 0.1%, and producer’s price of pear decreased by – 0.1%, peach – 2.2%, alycha – 0.1%, nut and hazel nut correspondingly decreased by 0.3% and 4.8%.
From live cattle and livestock products producer’s price of beef (in live weight) increased by 0.7%, milk – 0.6%, live sheep and goat 0.5%, poultry – 2.1% and producer’s price of egg increased by 34.4%. During the month along with increasing also producer’s price of cow decreased by 0.3%, buffalo – 0.6% and producer’s price of fowl (in live weight) decreased by 1.5%.
