Construction

Along with other fields of country, the construction complex also is developing dynamically. In the first half of 2013 from all financial sources in amount of 7.4 milliard manat or 22.9 % more than corresponding period of previous year funds were directed to the fixed assets, its 74.9 % was provided to the account of internal sources. 52.3 % of spent funds were used in the construction of facilities on production output and 47.7 % on service fields. Funds directed to the fixed assets by state property enterprises and organizations formed 60.9 % of capital.
In the first half of 2013 followings were put into operation: in Baku city - Production Union on “Ship Repair and Ship Building”, Hangar Complex and International Logistics Centre in the International Airport named by Heydar Aliyev, “Fairmont Baku” hotel at Flame Towers complex, Buzovna-Mardakan-Gala highway, in Sumgait city “Textile Park “Gilan”, in Absheron region - region - “Milla” Dairy Products and Ice-cream Production Factory, Disposable plastic containers and Preforming Manufacturing, in Gabala region - grape processing factory, dairy and livestock breeding complex, in Gobustan – Sport Complex, in Hajigabul - Ceramic tiles production plant, as well as, new dwellings with total area 917.9 thousand square metre was put into operation by the account of all financial sources, ambulatory-polyclinic institutions which allows serve 130 persons, secondary schools with 4654 places for pupils, pre-school institutions with 737 places, club with 864 places and others.
