According to the statistical data during January-May, 2013 foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Azerbaijan mainly formed 18.1 milliard US dollars, 13.8 milliard dollars of it size was share of export, 4.3 milliard dollars – import.
During this period the trade relations with 135 world countries were realized, commodity was exported to 89 countries and it was imported from 123 countries. 26 of participants of foreign trade turnover was America, 49 – Europe, 36 – Asia and other countries
Among the export products crude oil, oil products, natural gas, fruit –vegetable, fat and oil of vegetable and animal, among the import products food products, ferrous metals and products made by them, machine, mechanism, electric apparatus, equipments and their parts, transport means and their parts was dominated. Export of non-food products increased by 12.9% compared to January-May of last year.
