During January-March, 2013 from retail trade network in amount of 4.5 milliard manat or more than 9.5 % compared to the same period of 2012 consumer goods were sold to population. Volume of sold food products increased by 2.2% and reached to 2.5 milliard manat, volume of non-food products increased by 20.4% and was equal to 2.0 milliard manat. Compared with January-March of last year special weight of food products in the total volume of retail trade turnover decreased by 4.0 % and became 55.8%, special weight of non-food products increased by 44.2%. Each country resident purchased food products monthly on average in amount of 90.9 manat from retail trade network and non-food products in amount of 72.2 manat.
