Construction

In the first half of 2012 dynamic development in the construction complex of the country is continued, from all financial sources in amount of 5.9 milliard manat or 29.6% more than corresponding period of previous year funds were directed to the fixed assets, its 77.9 % is provided to the account of internal sources. Fund directed to fixed assets by organizations and enterprises with state property formed 58.7% of total capital.
During last period of current year followings were built in Baku "Crystall Hall"? Sport-Concert Complex, Heydar Aliyev Centre, "Caucasus Baku City Hotel and residences"? and "JW Marriott Absheron"? hotels, Sport Complex Zira, "Khazri"? Recreation and Health Center, third complex of road junction in the intersection of Heydar Aliyev and Ziya Bunyadov avenues.
According to the State Program on social-economic development of regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan followings were put into operation:
Polyclinic in Nakhchivan and Nakhcivan-Julfa highway, "Azguntex"? plant in Sumgait, heavy machine-building plant and exact processing centers in Sumgait Technology Park, in Goranboy region Chess school, in Gusar region Central hospital and Chess school, in Masalli region Refrigerator warehouse and green house complexes, in Astara region Olympic Sport Complex, Kijebe-Ojakeran and Kijebe-Gajimarde automobile roads, in Gazkh region cannery and Chess school, in Tovuz region "Ayan Palace"? hotel, in Siyazan region new bridge in Baku-Guba road, in Balakan region new bridge over the Mazimchay and others.
In addition, new dwellings with total area 796.7 thousand square metre was put into operation by the account of all financial sources, as well as hospital with 15 beds, ambulatory-polyclinic institutions which allows serve 666 persons, secondary schools with 360 places for pupils, pre-school institutions with 280 places and club with 140 places.
