During January-December 2011 769 auctions were conducted by the exchanges of the country, total volume of turnover increased by 3.2 times compared to previous year and currency reserves, securities, real estate and goods were realized in amount of 9439.7 million manats.
During the reporting period 358 of conducted auctions and main part of overall volume of turnover was share of Baku Stock and Baku Interbank Currency exchanges. During compared period volume of turnover in Baku Stock Exchange increased by 3.8 times and securities were sold in amount of 8429.6 million manats, of which 11.7 % - stock, 8.6% - loan, 7.8% - share of non-cash money, 3.3% - deposit and savings certificates, 68.6% - other operations. The volume of turnover in Baku Interbank Currency exchange increased by 1.4 times and currency stocks were sold in amount of 1009.9 million manat. Sale turnover on other exchanges increased by 26.4 times and formed 228.2 thousand manat.
