Macroeconomic indicators on economic and social development of country on January-November, 2011

A key quality indicator of the economic and social progress of the Gross Domestic Product during eleven months of 2011 compared to corresponding period of last year increased by 0.2 % and reached to 45.5 milliard manat. 54.9 % of value added produced in industry, 7.8 % - construction complex, 5.6% - agriculture, hunting and forestry, 5.2 % - transport, 7.9 % - trade and paid services, 1.7 % - communication, 11.0% - other fields.
5026.3 manat (6362.4 US dollars) value added produced for per person of population.
Production of GDP increased by 9.5 % in non-oil sector but 9.1 % decreased in oil sector.
Production in Industry field decreased by 5.0 % compared to January-November of last year, 78.0 % or 24.3 milliard manat of product produced in mining, 17.0 % or 5.3 milliard manat - processing section, 4.4 % or 1.4 milliard manat -production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam section, 0.6 % or 170.7 million manat - water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities.
In January-November from the products of mining sector produced 42.2 million ton oil and 23.8 milliard cubic meters gas.
Production of food products from the section of processing increased by 6.3 %, 10.2 % - beverage manufacturing, 8.4 %- production of textile industry, 57.2 % - production of clothing, 17.0% - wood processing and wood products industry, 4.1% - production of printing products, 1.1 % - oil production, 30.3 % - production of chemical industry, 34.6 % - rubber and plastics products, 2.6 % - production of construction materials, 92.2 % - production of metallurgy industry products, 30.2 % - manufacture of computers and other electronic equipment, 0.9 % - manufacture of machinery and equipment, 8.5 % - production of cars and trailers, 1.7 % - production of other transport means, 16.0 % - production of furniture, 71.5 % - installation and repair of machinery and equipments.
In the beginning of the year 17.9 milliard kilowatt-hour electricity produced in power station of country.
Industrial production in the oil sector decreased by 8.2 percent but in the non-oil sector it is increased by 9.7 %.
Collection of plant-growing products almost completed in agrarian sector. Until 1 December including maize gathered 2457.9 thousand tone grain, 938.5 thousand tone - potato, 1196.5 thousand tone - vegetable, 58.0 thousand tone - cotton, 761.2 thousand tone fruit and berry, 477.9 thousand tone - market garden crops, 135.0 thousand tone - grape, 235.3 thousand tone beet-sugar, 3.6 thousand tone - tobacco, 513.6 tone - green-tea leaf and produced 417.2 thousand tone live weight meat, 1491.5 thousand tone - milk, 916.5 million unit - egg and 15.9 thousand wool. Excluding potato, green-tea leaf and egg rest of plant-growing products and live-stock products increased compared to previous year.
In value terms production of plant-growing products increased by 9.4 %, live-stock products - 3.6 % and total product of agriculture - 6.8 %.
For the product of 2012 - 965.3 thousand ha area ploughed up, in 831.3 thousand ha area sowed seed grain for grain as well as, 598.9 thousand ha area wheat, 232.4 thousand ha area barley.
For development of economic and social fields 10.0 milliard manat were directed to fixed assets from all financial sources and building and assembly jobs in amount of 6.1 milliard manat were implemented.
78.1 percent or 7.8 milliard manat of fixed assets were the domestic investments. In comparison with the corresponding period of last year, 28.3 percent of amount of funds directed to fixed capital, including funds spent for construction works increased by 18.5 percent. 47.1 % or 4.7 milliard manat of investment were spent on construction of production facilities. For the continuation of constructions built in previous and current years from funds provided by the state budget during eleven months were used 3940.6 million manat.
186.3 million ton cargo and 1.4 milliard passengers transported by the natural entities engaged in transport enterprises and motor transport means and compared to previous year cargo transportation increased by 3.5%, passenger transportation - 7.4 %.
On January-October the cargo in amount of 44.6 million manats was transported through the Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor and 34.2% of income in amount 362.5 million manats received from cargo as well as passenger transportation were due to functioning of railway, 19.5% - sea way and 46.3% - motor transport.
One of the fastest growing areas of the country's economic and social life is communication. From the beginning of the year employees of this field provided communication services to population, enterprises and organizations by 1.1 milliard manat or 12.4 percent more than corresponding period of last year. 72.8 % or 806.3 million manat of services provided to population and increased by 15.8 %.
During January-November in amount of 19128.2 million manat consumer goods sold and provided paid services.
Corresponding period of last year more than 10.3 % or 14454.4 million manat goods sold, more than 7.4 % or 4673.8 million manat provided paid services. 8813.5 million manat or 61.0 % of sold goods were food products, 5640.9 million manat non-food products.
14.8 % of trade turnover implemented by trade organizations operating as legal entity, 39.1% - markets and fairs, 46.1 % - natural entities without establishing of legal entity.
During January-October governmental and non-governmental organizations of the country and other natural entities carried out foreign trade operations with 147 countries in amount of 29.8 milliard US dollars.
22.2 milliard dollars or 74.4% of foreign trade turnover is exported goods and 7.6 milliard dollars or 25.6 % - imported goods. 84.4 % or 25.2 milliard dollars of trade relations carried out with far foreign countries, 15.6 % (4.6 milliard dollars) with CIS member countries. 88.4 % of exported goods sent to far foreign countries, 11.6 % - to CIS member countries and the main part of its made up mineral products, food products, chemical and petrochemical industry products.
Most part of imported products (72.9 %) received from far foreign countries.
Among the imported goods car and mechanisms, electrical devices, food products, paper, pasteboard products, chemical industry products, mineral products were dominated.
Thus, during 10 months at the result of import-export operation formed positive balance in amount of 14.5 milliard dollars, as well as, in amount of 14.0 milliard dollars with far foreign countries, 494.0 million dollars with CIS member countries.
During January-October country received 28.3 million dollars humanitarian and technical aid.
In November price and service tariffs of consumer goods increased by 1.1% compared to October, during eleven months compared to corresponding period of last year - 8.0 %. In November compared to October the price of food products increased by 1.9 %, non-food products - 0.4%, service tariffs - 0.1 %. During the beginning of the year the last time prices of food products increased by 10.7 percent, the price of non-food products - 2.7 % and service tariffs - 4.7 %.
During January-November income of population increased by 19.2 % - (27.3 milliard manat) compared to corresponding period of last year, per capita amount of it increased by 17.6 % (3014.9 manat). 65.8 % of income spent on final consumption, 8.0 % - taxes, social insurance and voluntary payment of membership fees, 24.5 % - increase of savings and capital. Disposable income of households remained was 25.1 milliard manat and it increased by 20.3 % compared to corresponding period of last year.
Average monthly salary/wage of employees engaged in economic and social fields of country compared to January-October 2010 increased by 8.7 % and made 355.7 manat. Salary/wage of employees engaged in industry field was 519.0 manat, construction complex - 515.8 manat, transport- 435.7 manat and communication - 566.1 manat.
According to the data of Ministry of Finance during January- October state budget received 10.5 milliard manat and means in amount of 9.9 milliard manat spent from budget. 43.7 % or 4.3 milliard manat of budget expenditure directed to the development of economy, 9.5 % (936.9 million manat) - education, 12.6 % (1250.9 million manat) - social protection and social security. Between income and expenditure of budget created surplus equal to 1.6 % or 651.2 million manat of gross domestic product.
Bank deposits of population for the state of 1 November compared to corresponding period of last year increased by 27.3 % and made 3.7 milliard manat, 1.9 milliard manat of it was by foreign currency, 1.8 milliard manat by national currency.
Finance-credit organizations of country until the 1 November gave credit in amount of 9.8 milliard manat, 68.3 % of it was long-term credit and 6.4 % - payment is expired.
In November average exchange rate of manat for US dollar was 0.79 manat, 1 Euro - 1.07 manat, 100 Russian rouble - 2.55 manat, according to the beginning of the year it was 0.79, 1.11 and 2.71 manat.
