A meeting was held between Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, Tahir Budagov and acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nuno Queiros

Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, Tahir Budagov met with acting Resident Representative of the United Nations (UN) Development Program in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nuno Queiros on March 31.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and UN agencies in recent years and emphasized the importance of creating a National Awareness Portal on Sustainable Development Goals with the financial support of the UNDP Azerbaijan office within the framework of this cooperation. It was noted that the current activities of UNDP in our country are carried out based on the “Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2021-2025” document between the government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations and are aimed at long-term socio-economic development issues in accordance with the growing needs of our country.

Nuno Queiros, acting Resident Representative of UNDP expressed his gratitude to Tahir Budagov for the cordial meeting.
