About the European Caucasian Asian Corridor of Transportation

In months of January - July, 2005 in comparison with the following period of the last year there was an increase at 25.8 million tons in 11.1 percent at carrying of cargoes by the Azerbaijan part of the European Caucasian Asian corridor of transportation, and it forms 36.3 percent of the whole transportation of a cargo in the transport sector of the country. 59.9 percent the railway, auto transport (transportation) 28.5 percent, and in 20.6 percent have been executed by the sea transportation. Incomes of transportation of a cargo and passengers were 617.1 billion manats and 54.8 percent the railway, 26.7 percent by sea, 18.5 percent have been generated by the auto transportation. Incomes of transportation of a cargo which is 89.2 percent, provide 550.6 billion manats, but incomes of transportation of passengers which is 10.8 percent, provide 66.5 billion manats
