Production of Gross Domestic Product in January-July 2026

In January-July 2026 gross domestic product (GDP) in amount of 76817,7 million manats or 1,4 percent more compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was produced in the country. Value added produced in oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 0,6 percent, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 2,2 percent.

34,5 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 10,5 percent trade; repair of transport means, 7,3 percent transportation and storage, 6,2 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 5,0 percent construction, 2,9 percent accommodation of tourists and food service activities, 2,0 percent information and communication, 21,9 percent other fields, while net taxes on products and imports represented 9,7 percent of GDP.

During this period, value added in information and communication fields increased in real terms by 10,4 percent, by 7,1 percent in transportation and storage, by 3,8 percent in trade; repair of transport means, by 3,5 percent in accommodation of tourists and food service activities, by 1,2 percent in other service fields, by 2,8 percent in agriculture, forestry and fishing, by 0,5 percent in industry, while it decreased by 9,4 percent in construction.
