Changes in prices of consumer market

Consumer prices in January-July 2026 compared to January-July 2025 increased by 5,7%, including food products, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products 6,8%, non-food products 3,8% and paid services provided to population 5,7%.

In July of the current year compared to July 2025, the consumer prices increased by 5,8%, while decreased by 0,1% compared to June.

In July 2026 consumer prices for food products, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products decreased by 0,4% compared to the previous month, and increased by 7,3% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

In July of the current year compared to the previous month, the prices of several food products such as long rice, macaroni products, beef and mutton, sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs, table margarine, lemon, sour cherry, cherry, apricot, white cabbage, greens, carrot, onion and table salt increased, while the prices of banana, apple, pear, cherry plum, plum, peach, watermelon, melon, grape, strawberry, cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, green bean, garlic and potato decreased. There were no significant changes in the prices of other food products.

In July 2026 compared to the previous month, consumer prices for non-food products remained stable, increased by 3,7% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. In July compared to the previous month, the prices of paint, spare parts and engine oil for automobiles increased, while prices of jewelry decreased. There were no significant changes in the prices of other non-food products.

 In July 2026, increase in prices for paid services provided to population compared to the previous month was 0,3% and 5,4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. In July compared to the previous month, rental fees for apartments, prices for domestic rest tours, catering services provided by cafes and restaurants increased. There were no significant changes in the prices of other paid services.
