Changes in prices of consumer market

Consumer prices in January-June 2026 compared to January-June 2025 increased by 5,7%, including food products, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products 6,7%, non-food products 3,8% and paid services provided to population 5,7%.

Compared to June 2025, the annual consumer prices increased by 5,8%, while decreased by 0,3% in the past month.

In June 2026, consumer prices for food products, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products decreased by 0,7% compared to the previous month and increased by 7,1% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

In June of the current year compared to the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of several food products such as buckwheat groats, chicken, yogurt, sour cream, table margarine, sunflower and corn oil, lemon, apple, apricot, white cabbage, onion, carbonated and non-carbonated water, while the decrease was observed in the prices of fresh fish, egg, banana, cherry plum, strawberry, cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, green bean, table beet, garlic, and potato. There were no significant changes in the prices of other food products.

In June 2026, consumer prices for non-food products increased by 0,1% compared to the previous month and by 3,8% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. In June compared to the previous month, the prices of paint, furniture, engine oil for automobiles and mobile phones increased, while prices of household appliances and jewelry decreased. There were no significant changes in the prices of other non-food products.

In June 2026, increase in prices for paid services provided to population was 0,1% compared to the previous month and 5,6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. In June compared to the previous month, the prices of international passenger air transportation services and domestic leisure tours increased. There were no significant changes in the prices of other paid services.
