Production of Gross Domestic Product in January-April 2026

In January-April 2026 gross domestic product (GDP) in amount of 39875,1 million manats or 0,2 percent more compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was produced in the country. Value added produced in oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 0,9 percent, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 0,7 percent. 35,7 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 10,6 percent trade; vehicle repair areas, 7,3 percent transport and warehouse, 4,9 percent construction, 3,5 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 3,0 percent tourists’ accommodation and public catering, 2,1 percent information and communication, 22,8 percent other fields, 10,1 percent net taxes on product and import. During this period, value added in information and communication fields increased in real terms by 9,0 percent, by 4,5 percent in transportation and storage, by 3,7 percent in trade; vehicle repair areas, by 2,5 percent in tourists’ accommodation and public catering, by 2,0 percent in agriculture, forestry and fishing, by 0,6 percent in industry, by 0,5 percent in other service fields, while it decreased by 19,0 percent in construction.
