Foreign trade relations

In January-February 2026 legal and natural entities of the Republic of Azerbaijan realized trade operations with their partners in 150 countries of the world, goods were exported to 100 countries and imported from 138 countries. In January-February 2026 foreign trade turnover amounted to 6278,5 million USD, resulting in a positive trade balance of 1,080.3 million USD.

In January-February 2026 compared to January-February 2025 import of wheat increased in real terms by 37,2%, buses by 2,3-fold, fresh fruits by 11,9%, ferrous metal pipes by 21,7%, computing machinery, blocks and installations by 21,9%, while import of passenger cars decreased by 31,5%, pharmaceuticals by 34,7%, rolled steel by 23,1%, butter, other dairy fats and spreads by 32,9%, shoes by 1,2%.

In January-February 2026 the export of non-oil-gas products made 580,7 million USD and compared to January-February 2025 it increased by 19,7% in actual prices and decreased by 14,3% in real terms.
