Production of Gross Domestic Product in January-March 2026

In January-March 2026 gross domestic product in amount of 29703,2 million manats or 0,3 percent less in real terms compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was produced in the country. Value added produced in oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 1,2 percent, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 0,2 percent.

33,5 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 11,3 percent trade; vehicle repair areas, 7,1 percent transport and warehouse, 4,6 percent construction, 3,3 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 3,2 percent tourists’ accommodation and public catering, 2,0 percent information and communication, 23,3 percent other fields, 11,7 percent net taxes on product and import.

During this period, value added in information and communication fields increased in real terms by 9,2 percent, by 3,7 percent in trade; vehicle repair areas, by 2,9 percent in tourists’ accommodation and public catering, by 1,5 percent in transportation and storage, by 0,3 percent in other service fields, by 1,2 percent in agriculture, forestry and fishing, and by 0,2 percent in industry, while it decreased by 19,8 percent in construction.
