In 2025, 1252 or 12,3% less traffic accidents occurred compared to 2024, the number of victims of these events decreased by 12,1% and made 1715 people. 689 of suffered people died and 1026 of them were injured. 44,5% of accidents happened in the daytime, 39,4% - at night time, 16,1% - during twilight, 30,3% of accidents occurred on Saturdays and Sundays.

85,1% of traffic accidents happened in settlements; number of people died as a result of these accidents decreased by 13,4% and made 484 persons compared to the previous year, while the number of injured people decreased by 14,0% and made 960 people.

39,9% of all traffic accidents happened with participation of transport means and pedestrians, 37,8% - several transport means, 22,3% - one mode of transport. 73,3% of people who died and 69,4% of those injured as a result of traffic accidents were men.
