The number of nights spent in hotels and similar establishments in January-March 2025 increased by 11,4% compared with January-March 2024 and amounted to 868,3 thousand. 58,2% of the total nights spent were registered in Baku, 10,0% in Gusar, 5,4% in Gabala, 4,8% in Shabran, 4,3% in Naftalan, 3,1% in Guba, 2,6% in Lankaran, 1,5% in Shamakhi, 1,0% in Aghdam, 1,0% in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic 1,0% in Shusha, and 7,1% in other districts and cities.

The number of nights spent by foreigners and stateless persons increased by 11,9 percent compared to January-March 2024 and reached 484,9 thousand, representing 55,8% of total nights. 21.8% of the total nights were spent by the citizens of India, 14,3% - the Russian Federation, 8,8% - Türkiye, 6,3% - the United Arab Emirates, 4,7% - Saudi Arabia, 3,3% - the USA, 3,1% - Israel, 3,0% - Kuwait, 2,7% - Pakistan, 2,4% - China, 2,4% - Kazakhstan, 1,9% - Great Britain, 1,4% - Uzbekistan, 0,9% - Germany, 0,8% - Bahrain, 0,8% - Iran, 0,8% - Italy, 0,7% - Georgia, 19,9% - citizens of other countries.

77,5% of the nights in hotels spent by foreigners and stateless persons were registered in Baku city, 12,7% in Gusar, 3,5% in Naftalan, 2,7% in Gabala, 1,8% in Guba, 0,4% in Shamakhi and 1,4% in other districts and cities.

The number of nights spent in hotels by the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan compared to January-March 2024 increased by 10,8% and made 383,4 thousand, representing 44,2% of total nights.

In January-March 2025, hotels and similar establishments’ revenues increased by 12,1% compared to January-March 2024 and amounted to 125,1 million manats, 58,6% of which were from services for the provision of rooms, 28,0% catering services, 3,1% treatment and health services and 10,3% other services.

In January-March 2025, one-time use of rooms in hotels and similar establishments was 19,3% (17,8% in January-March 2024). This indicator was 68,2% in Shabran, 43,5% in Gusar, 31,2% in Naftalan, 28,0% in Baku, 27,2% in Sabirabad, 24,5% in Gabala, 19,7% in Barda, 19,2% in Aghdam, 16,4% in Shamakhi, 16,3% in Aghstafa, 15,7% in Beylagan, 15,6% in Lankaran, 15,3% in Guba,while in other cities and regions, it was below 15,3 percent.
