Aliyeva Chimnaz was born on 07 August, 1976 in Azerbaijan (Baku city). She received a bachelor’s degree in 1998 and master’s degree with honors in 2008 from the Faculty of Automation and computing Technique of Azerbaijan Technology University.
In the period of 1998-2012 she worked as an Engineer-programmer, Head Engineer-programmer, Deputy Head of Department in Main Computing Centre of the State Statistical Committee and from 2012 she worked as Deputy Head of Department of Quality Management and Information Technologies.
Since 2018 she is the Head of Information Technologies Department. She is a counselor of civil service. Awarded the medal “For distinction in the public service” in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22 June, 2022.
Activity Direction of the Department:
- implementation of necessary actions for determination of main policy in the field of provision of information security in the system of statistics, development of rules and responsibilities of provision of data confidentiality;
- taking important steps for organization of application of information technologies and for increasing of efficiency of statistical works through improvement of services;
- provision of data protection and up-to-dateness, application of appropriate management systems for the aim to secure maintenance of databases based on modern technologies and international standards;
- acting in the field of system security in line with international requirements, studying of demands for modern operation systems and application of system security;
- provision of high-level working condition of computers;
- development of the web page of the SSC and implementing duties of relevant normative legal acts, provision of data openness.
