Ibrahimova Aida was born on February 23, 1962 in Azerbaijan (Baku city). She graduated from Institute of National Economy. In the period of 1983-1987 she worked as a Merchandiser in the base of “Azerbaijan Shoes Trade”, in 1987-1997 she was an Economist, Chief Economist, Deputy Head and Head of Department in Main Computing Centre of the State Statistical Committee. Since 1997, she has worked in positions as Deputy Head of Department in the Administration of State Statistical Committee.
She is the Head of Trade Statistics Department of the State Statistical Committee since 2015. She is a counselor of civil service. According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 19, 2010, she was awarded the medal "For Distinction in Public Service".
Activity Direction of the Department:
- collection of statistical data in a paper and e-form from legal and natural entities engaged in trade activity according to the common rules, to provide compliance of it with the social-economic processes in the country;
- to provide timely and qualitative analyze of reliable and substantial statistical data on position and development of trade and foreign trade in the level of country, areas, economical districts and regional on the base of collected data;
- to organize and carry out surveys of trade areas.
