Suleymanov Rafael Sohbetwas born on July 27, 1956 in the Republic of Georgia (Marneuli region, Gachagan village). In 1978 year he graduated from Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy.
During 1978-1979 years he was an economist in the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan; in 1980-1997 years he was an economist, a head economist, an engineer, a leading engineer, a senior engineer, a senior economist, a deputy head of department and a head of department. Since 1997 he worked a head of department in the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Since 2015 he is a Head of Department of Information and Public Relations in the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is a counselor of civil service. Awarded the medal “For distinction in the public service” in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22 June, 2015. Married, has two children.
Activity Direction of the Department:
- Provides state bodies, legal, natural entities and other users with statistical data by providing the confidentiality of data in the country, region levels;
-Regularlyprepares and publishes statistical yearbooks and disseminates among the users;
-Regularly provides organization of press conferences in cooperation with mass media;
-Improves data bases on regions and users.
