The State Program on Improvement of the Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2026-2030

ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN
ON

“Approval of the State Program on the Development of Official Statistics
in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030”

Guided by Clauses 3 and 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to ensure the sustainability of statistical data production and the development of the national statistical system, with the aim of ensuring the preparation of state programs, strategies, concepts, and other strategic documents, exercising control over their implementation and assessing the extent of achievement of the set targets, and meeting users’ demand, including relevant state authorities (institutions), for official statistical data in the context of new challenges and growing needs in order to achieve the priorities and objectives of state policy in the field of socio-economic development, I hereby order:

To approve “The State Program on the Development of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030” (hereinafter “State Program”) (attached).
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve the issues arising from this Decree.
The State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:
3.1. Coordinate implementation of actions envisaged in the State Program;
3.2. Report to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year on the progress in implementing the actions envisaged in the State Program.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the allocation of the necessary funds each year while drafting the state budget in order to finance the actions defined in the State Program.
To monitor and evaluate the implementation of the actions envisaged in the State Program by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication upon the order of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
