Participation of representative of the State Statistical Committee in the regional workshop on Measuring and Monitoring Progress on Decent Work

Deputy Head of the Department of Labour Statistics - Nemat Khuduzade was participated in the Regional Training and Knowledge-Sharing Workshop on Measuring and Monitoring Progress on Decent Work (2009-2013) organized by International Labour Organization and European Commission held on the 27-28 September, 2012 in Kiev (Ukraine).
Representatives of 8 countries - national statistical offices of Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, Kirgizstan, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, labour ministries, trade union, federation of entrepreneurs as well as, 39 experts from International Labour Organization were participated in the meeting. The main purpose of workshop was share of practices gained in Ukraine on decent work with the other countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as, dissemination of methodologies, statistics and practices.
Representatives of participating countries were presented their presentations on decent work. As well as, representative of State Statistical Committee N. Khuduzade was presented his presentation on the theme of "Assessment of decent work in Azerbaijan"? and carried out wide discussion on above mentioned topic.
