Participation of representative of the State Statistical Committee in the workshop on Energy Saving Initiative in the Building Sector in the Eastern European and Central Asian Countries (ESIB) organized in Bishkek

     Deputy Head of the Department of Industry and Construction Statistics of the Republic of Azerbaijan - R.Gurbanov participated in the workshop on Energy Saving Initiative in the Building Sector in the Eastern European and Central Asian Countries (ESIB) hold on 12-13 July, 2012 organized in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
     The purpose of workshop was consist of energy efficiency of household appliances, importance of designations, evaluation of current situation in the direction of increasing the energy efficiency of buildings in the countries included to the project and acquaintance with the practice of some member countries to European Union.
     Representatives of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as an expert Yuray Krivosik from The Czech Republic and Tatyana Lujanskaya from Moldova, director of the project Antuan Moren from France and team leader Roberto Lo Cicero Vaina, from Italy. Totally 40 persons were participated in the workshop. Head of Department on Investment and reconstruction of industrial objects of the Ministry of Industry and Energy - R.Rzayev and representative of SSC of the Republic of Azerbaijan were the delegation from Azerbaijan.
     First day of the workshop participants of the workshop were informed about the importance of workshop by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan - Aybek Kaliyev, head of the Cooperation Department of the European Union Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic Tom Massie, Team Leader of INOGATE Programme on Energy Saving Initiative in the Building Sector in the Eastern European and Central Asian Countries (ESIB) - Roberto Lo Cicero Vaina.
     Representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were noted that in their country was adopted the Law on "Efficient use of energy"? but also they were noted that they have difficulties on finding of donors on carried out implementation of projects by the purpose of increasing efficiency of energy in buildings.
     Representative of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan noted that the Law on "Efficient use of energy"? will be adopted in the near future, representative of SSC of the Republic of Azerbaijan in his term gave information on formation of energy in the country, as well as, carried out survey on "Consumption of fuel and energy in the households"? and other issues.
